I heard there are 70K cars per day using the freeway. Putting all that traffic Through Burlington and Mount Vernon, and over a 2-lane bridge is a nightmare, I imagine!
Y'know, I bet RNMCB 18 (Seabees) would be glad to put in a temporary bridge!
I'm pretty sure they replaced that bridge a few years ago with a new one! I'm amazed that there wasn't more vehicles in the water.
