Road crews are usually very fast at repairing roads after something like that. They do not like closing the road for any length of time. Causes too much backup of traffic.
Usually they gt the equipment in there as soon as the LEOs and investigators clear the scene and start work right away. Most of the time the contractor gets a bonus based on how quickly the job is done. If I am not mistaken the vehicle insurance companies pick up the tab for most, if not all of it so they want it done fast as well.
I really hate when things like this happen so close around the holidays. At least two families lives have changed now and each Christmas forward. May they find peace and comfort in the days and weeks to come.
