Howdy. Bought our trailer new in 2007. Have never washed it. I havc years of bugs, dirt and grime on it. I have now resolved to clear it up. Our long distance truck driving son sez I should take it to a truck car wash. I think the rubber roof would suffer harm. I have seen some kind of power washer at Costco. Anyway, requesting guidance. Advise please. Thanks!
Why not just wash the roof yourself? Get some good cleaner and get up there with a Boars Hair brush and start scrubbing. Chances are that you'd lose a lot of caulking and do more harm than good by just power washing it, imo.
If you get the roof wet and let some good soapy solution penetrate the roof, then scrub it, you'll be amazed at how clean the roof will be. Same goes for the sides.
