Wouldn't bet that anything was in perfect condition when leaving the dealer. The heavy power gear slide in our new rig made a loud "POP" at the end of it's outward travel. The "customer service specialist" who did our walk through said it was normal for that brand of slide in that coach. On the second warranty trip to a dealer where it wasn't purchased, they showed me where some screws had worked loose causing the pop and said it would have caused the slide to be stuck in the open position eventually. They put in new screws into new holes and the slide works silently now. If the selling dealer had fixed the problem before I took delivery they would have waited to get money in hand. Winnebago is on the hook either way. A terrible/wonderful thing to be so hooked on this expensive hobby of ours. Many of us on our fifth or more rig. I try to enjoy the entire process and take in the lessons thrown my way.
