This is my take on the problems. You need to try and get Keystone to give you and OK to get the work done at your place by a Mobile RV Tech. You'll need to shop around and find one that can handle the job. This is a structural issue as well as a possible electrical issue -
Frankly, I flabbergasted that Keystone and SO many other sloppy manufacturers leave their wiring all willy nilly, just waiting to get pinched and shorted out - Hell, they don't even zip tie them and that's the very least they could do! Just sad!!!
Caveat: The bitterness of poor quality outlasts the sweetness of low price!
