We are wrapping up our second volunteer stint at a TPWD park. Both jobs were easy to obtain. I sent our application in both times then followed up with phone calls to that specific park's volunteer coordinator. Also we visited those parks in person to "show our faces". We even were contacted by other parks in which we had no interest. We recently applied on the Florida State Park's volunteer web site. Shortly there after we were contacted and offered positions at two separate parks.
The jobs are there for the taking.
