Hey Rin, I'm in the same situation. My "2017" GD 2650 (bought Aug 2016) is really a 2016. It doesn't have any of the 2017 upgrades. But the standard disclaimer still applies. Yeah, the GD Kool-Aid tastes a little funny.....
On another note, we had a Heartland previously. They made a running change to a deeper, flush slide instead of the shallow step-up one, still the same model year. I held out to find one with the new slide.
