I think we've all been burned by this kind of thing. What's worse is when some item gets cheapened up by the manufacturer, and it arrives on our doorstep from UPS. Maybe we can return it, maybe not.
I just don't see any excuse for signing on the dotted line for an RV you did not inspect, or did not want. Now, if it had arrived, he inspected it and rejected it due to missing new features, and had to wait around for another 6-8 weeks for the correct unit to arrive, THEN I would be sympathetic. Possibly ruined vacation, wasted trip to the dealership, and that kind of annoyance. I'm not so sympathetic to anyone who drops $40k without inspecting his purchase.
