Did the OP check the VIN to see what model year it indicated? If 2016, and marketed as 2017, then he has a beef. Don't know why some people on here have to be such a-holes.
So to avoid being an a-hole, I guess we should all just say, "oooh, poor baby, we're so sorry you got hurt."
I think we've all been burned by this kind of thing. What's worse is when some item gets cheapened up by the manufacturer, and it arrives on our doorstep from UPS. Maybe we can return it, maybe not.
I just don't see any excuse for signing on the dotted line for an RV you did not inspect, or did not want. Now, if it had arrived, he inspected it and rejected it due to missing new features, and had to wait around for another 6-8 weeks for the correct unit to arrive, THEN I would be sympathetic. Possibly ruined vacation, wasted trip to the dealership, and that kind of annoyance. I'm not so sympathetic to anyone who drops $40k without inspecting his purchase.
OP stated he arrived on the lot and was presented with only 2017 model year units - all 2016's were gone. You would expect that a unit presented as a 2017 would be a 2017.
Sure there are rolling changes, but as people have asked and have not yet been answered bu the OP - what does the title or vin number say?
Keep trying - you might make it...
