I can sympathize with the OP a little.
My 2016 has some features listed as "new for 2016" according to the brochure, but not all of them, even though it was manufactured many MONTHS after the new marketing material was released. I'm ok with it and was aware when I signed the paperwork, but it is an odd practice.
Maybe the planning and procurement departments at TT manufacturers are lousy and overbuy components, causing them to have to bleed them down for months longer than expected?
