Just to add more info on this thread.
Looked at new(2015) TT from a local dealer which we liked in the middle of Oct./2016. Also looked at the same 2016 model TT next to the 2015 which was exactly the same but it had upgraded materials on dinette and couch, which we really liked, but was many more $$$$. Saleman said he would give us a good price on 2015 model. Went home and by chance looked up other new ,similar 2016 models on the internet. Found a 2016 model manufactured in Apr/14/2016 at a dealer (on the coast),a 6 hour drive over 2 mountain passes(snow has come). After dickering with the salesman, got the 2016 (on the coast) for the same price as the 2015(local) and they said they would give me a deal on a bunch of mods.
Brought it home no problem. Was looking on the internet for the differences between 2016 model(ours) and 2 different 2017 models ( this was a few weeks ago). One had the identical materials on the couch and dinette as ours and the other had a very different matching material on the couch and dinette cushions. (Obviously, a newer manufatured unit)
So I guess it all depends when the unit is manufactured on what changes/upgrades there are in that calender year.
