We would have definitely been interested in this! BUT -- it is too far down for us... we were actually hoping to only go half that far.
We have been working jobs where we got site/full hookups and payment -- but they were a lot more hours.
I bet if you start advertising -- only couple hours a day work someone would be glad to pay their own electric and you never know if you don't try. Perhaps also offer them opportunity to keep RV there year round for only the 6 months work. OR voucher at restaurants etc i.e. discount. Trouble is this post was already buried so you got to keep at it.
Try other forums/websites as well -- here is one that is free http://www.snowbirdrvtrails.com/workkamping.htm
Good Luck!
Thanks for your insight. I have felt it was a bit early to press the issue since it is still not Memorial Day in the US.
Keeping the RV year round is a good idea. That would help attract people who only have a 6 month tourist permit but a 10 year RV sticker.
We drive, by car, to Brownsville in about 15 hours. Breakfast north of Veracruz city and a late dinner on South Padre Island. RV's usually take 3 days or more, making stops and just taking their time.
Thanks again for the help.
