I drove off with the antenna up...
Now I have a broken antenna. Are there alternatives to the crank up antennas? I'd rather have one stuck to a window or something else that can't be damaged. Thanks!

It sounds like you did a comparable test in my book. Don't let the others bother you, a lot of folks merely spout off in these forums. Its a simple tv antenna, not rocket science. You hook it up and you either get channels or you dont, period.
The member you're disrespecting (SCVJeff) has the knowledge and tools to test antenna efficiencies and has posted his testing results on the Forum.
