Disclaimer: My camper does not have any slides.
...that said, I have read often of persons here who have issues with them- mechanical failures, leaks, larger volumes in colder temperatures trying to keep warm, etc. I am NOT speaking ill of RV's with slides, but doesn't this double slide concept potentially create double the problems that may happen.
How far can one cantilever out would be a primary concern I would think. The linkage and mechanics of the first slide at the carcass must have quite a bit of stress on it.
I will admit I am ignorant of RV's with slides... just looking at this concept with novice eyes. Any real world feedback from members who do the two?
