Nope, real simply. Put some peat moss in to start and give it a crank after going #2. Just don't pee in the solids tank and it pretty much takes care of itself.
Only issue would be if you had the runs but you can always dump and start fresh if that happens. If you get the runs regularly not such a great option.
But again, for an RV, it just doesn't make much sense as RV system don't have nearly as many failure points as marine systems.
