When I dump my tank, it is my family's waste and any guests the kids happen to bring depending on the trip. I wear gloves here just like I did in the ER as a medic and a clinical social worker. So, while it may not be perfect, there is no way to completely clean the hose or the sewer inlet when I pull the hose. It is just my thought, but for me I am more comfortable using gloves than bare hands. Even your own waste will cause an infection in a cut or scratch. I also use good hygiene when done. If you bare hand it, that is your choice. I will not condemn your choice, so please don't demean mine.
