Like a couple of others have said, I do not where gloves. After I put the hose away I wash my hands, even if I wore gloves I would have to wash my hands after touching the gloves to take them off. I do not worry about passing diseases because it is just my family, I do not dump other peoples tanks. I wiped my kids butts and kiss my wife and kids, I will get diseases from that. I do not eat while I am dumping, or fix meals. I follow clean dumping practices so all I touch is a the plastic.
Simply don't play in it, just follow clean pratices and wash your hands.
