I need a good disposable glove solution for dumping

Have any of you found a good disposable glove that you are happy with to keep in your water bay? I've got two problems with the cheap box of gloves I found at Home Depot:
  1. They are hard to put on because they are so tight and
  2. I haven't found a simple and elegant solution for hanging them on the door inside the bay to keep them dry.

  • I know that this post is not specifically responsive to a certain brand, but, as Howard above suggested, "no brand" might be best. There is really no viable scientific claim that the practice of using gloves when you dump your rig is of any benefit except to those who manufacture the gloves. BTW, I'm a retired RN with many years of experience.

Think of what you are doing when you dump your tanks. You are removing YOUR waste from your rig. And unless you stick your hand down into that sewer inlet, you are extremely unlikely to encounter anyone else's. Assuming it's just yours, unless you wear gloves when you finish your daily time(s)in your bathroom, you are at no more risk than if you don't.
  • I keep a bag of Harbor Freight cheapies in a compartment by the dump hose or I use hand sanitizers.

I just keep a pair of heavy duty rubber gloves in the fence post holder. The method I use to drain the slinky is clean when I disconnect.
  • We use food service gloves, like at Subway. Bought some from Amazon for about $5 for a box of 100. Work well for sewer and pumping diesel.

Go to any pharmacy and get the latex disposable used in Dr. Offices and such. A box of 100 is 7 or 8 dollars, use one time, throw away. I use then when painting and staining my woodwork projects. Get the large size and you won't have any problems getting them on.

    X2 :)

  • my DW got me some from Sally Beauty Supply- extra large and they go on and off nicely and are thicker than others I have found. I store mine in an old dishwashing soap tablet tub with a lid that pops up.
  • I use the XL 5mm blue gloves from Harbor Freight. Put velcro on the bottom of the box and attach to wall.
