Sounds more like thee campground infrastructure is garbage. Perhaps cousin Eddie aint all that dumb. Keep plugging things in until the breaker trips...then you know you got too much.
Fault the campground for having poor equipment, not the guy just looking to enjoy the weekend. This might work out better for you. Since the CG had to replace equipment, you might now be better protected. Good ole cousin Eddie might have actually done you an indirect favor.
And besides, if the CG was at capacity, then how is he the only one at fault? I'm sure nobody else had any excessive amount of toys plugged in.
