I donno.... I'm with Old Biscuit. The circuit breaker should have shut the power off way before the pedestal could catch on fire. I can only surmise that the breaker was defective and that's what caused the fire.... Of course, if Cousin Eddie hadn't overloaded it with all his toys, the problem wouldn't have happened.
