We didn't camp when I was a kid.Didn't start until we had two kids 1970(have a total of 6). Started out in a tent and a 1968 Dodge Van w/ a slant six.Camped that way for many years.We would see people with big trailers and motor homes,running their tv,s and vacume cleaners and say"That's not camping". Went from a tent to a 11 1/2' slide in on a 1973 Dodge 1/2 ton.All the comforts of home.Then here we went with a 1976 Gladding Del Ray 5er.Wrap around front windows.Pulled with the same Dodge 1/2 ton.Yellowstone trip in 1977 was our first "big"trip.Fast forward to now.32' Chappy 5er.Still pulling with a 1/2 ton Dodge.Run our tv and vaccume cleaner.Just the two of us now.Guess we aren't camping any more??Maybe should call it glamping.
