I remember when growing up, we started with a pop-up. It always rained and we would touch the canvas on the inside and it would leak all night. My two older brothers and I would be soaked by morning. Then we got a 19 ft Apache TT and an International Harvester Travelall. We thought we were in tall cotton. No more drips. It didn’t have A/C for two years. We went to Colorado in the summer and didn’t need a/c. Cooked all our meals outside, rarely went inside, except to sleep. I don’t remember ever being upset and uncomfortable. Nowadays, my kids have a/c, multiple TV’s, game stations, bathroom, shower, internet and never leave the rv, unless to site see. Today they watch movies or play internet games going down the highway. In my day, I napped in the rear view window deck (and sweated). It wasn’t safe, but we didn’t have seat belts.
