I think this guy needs a WD hitch and a little adjustment..

Looks to be an early Explorer, maybe '93 to '95 or so based on the front end. Leaf springs in the rear, yes. I had a '91 Explorer and loved it for everything except towing our (at the time) 15' Sunline TT. Bought a better TV inside of a year.

No "tow shaming" allowed!

Who cares if they are destroying their vehicle, putting themselves and others at risk of property damage or personal injury? What you are doing is MEAN. You are being a BULLY. You know you can't do that in this day and age.

You must accept them for who they are. Go give them a big hug and tell them that it's okay.

Using a proper tow vehicle and equipment is no longer acceptable in society. We must all trade in our 3/4 and 1 ton trucks for compact SUVs. We must cut up our WD hitches for scrap.

I stand corrected, perhaps I should change the title of this thread to "I think this guy needs a hug and a gold star for effort"?

He's in the middle of an intersection, no crown or gutter involved.

I think some people need to go back and look at the pic! the combo is in the middle of the intersection making a left. the front of the trailer is down the back is up and t he back of the Explorer is down and the front is up (look at the wheels in the wheel wells). So as the title indicates "this guy needs a WD hitch" he does not have one!

Ha-ha! No, it isn't. Bullying the bully for bullying is perfectly acceptable.

Really some of these responses from people trying to make excuses for the rig in the picture had my jaw on the ground.

You guys need to go see the eye doctor... That entire setup is a disaster regardless of the road surface. There is nothing exaggerated in that pic.

Here's a link to Google map that's just about where I was sitting... street view shows the intersection fairly well...
