It is a real shame that tireman9 got banned and his posts deleted. He was going to a lot of work to provide information about tires and answer questions based on knowledge of the subject. Many members indicated their interest and thanks for his work.
There were some critical comments - uncalled for and unreasonable in my opinion - that landed on the thread. Many members indicated that they disagreed with the critical posts. Tireman did not get into any debate with the negative posters.
One member just could not leave it alone. I could see him getting kicked out. His post were ruining the thread for everyone.
I would like the Admin/Moderators to reconsider the action taken and reinstate Tireman9 and his thread.
If that does not happen it would be reasonable to explain why this action was taken since so many members were finding the information from Tireman9 to be informative.
An exchange of knowledge is one of the goals of the forum is it not?
Insulting people is not.
