The NEW Carlisle Radial Trail RH has less reported failures than the Maxxis ST tires on this forum. Why don't you guys ever mention that FACT?
I might purchase a set AFTER they have proven that they hold up long term.
Your neighbor had a spare tire blowout how many years ago?
Like I said they new tires might be the next best thing to sliced bread. But I still have a image of how lousy of tire they use to be. I have run Goodyear's and never had a issue while others have had a lot of problems with them.
A negative image is hard to overcome no matter what the brand.
I bought a used trailer that had blowout damage. It tore a hole in the plywood floor, bent up the metal skirt on the bottom of trailer, tore up the plastic fender and tore the rear stabilizer jack off.
A blowout can do a lot of damage very fast.
