Ice makers
I see those little ice makers at Sam/Cosco for around $100. Are they worth buying and how good is the ice?

There are several different grades. Mostly dealing with how much ice per day they will produce. The ice is barely frozen, like, 30 degrees, not zero degrees like you get at the store or from your own freezer. You can place new cubes in your freezer to make them colder.
When shopping for one, be sure to compare how many pounds of ice per hour it claims to produce, not just price.
