Ice makers
I see those little ice makers at Sam/Cosco for around $100. Are they worth buying and how good is the ice?

We are heavy ice users. The icemaker in the fridge could never keep up so we wanted to get a counter top model.
My DWs employers were on their third one, a Magic Chef and were very happy with it so we got one. The cheap ones dont have a compressor and dont work well.
If I start the MC around 5:00, it makes ice in a not many minutes and keeps up the rest of the night. It will be full by bedtime and we bag it.
We'll never be without one now.
