Ice makers
I see those little ice makers at Sam/Cosco for around $100. Are they worth buying and how good is the ice?

Most likely the one you bought is a Dometic. It is the exact same as many others sold under different names. I have the MajicChef and it has worked very well. I will be selling it since we now have an ice maker in the frig.
The Dometic at CW is on sale for $259. Same exact thing at Walmart is the MajicChef at $159.
