Has anyone camp/park hosted at Heyburn State Park in Idaho? We'd appreciate any info you could provide. We love Idaho parks and although we haven't been to Heyburn it looks very interesting.
No information on hosting but the park is one of our favorites. You have a lake right there with some hiking. 90+ mile paved bike trail runs right though the park. We have used this park to ride several portions of the trail. We have also driven to the Hiawatha trial which is a rails to trial also that has several tunnels, one is long, need lights. As mentioned Spokane is not too far away. Cabela's and a small Camping World store not too far away either.
Never hosted there, but have visited several times. It is a nice park, but the restrooms could use some repairs...cracked tile in the showers, etc. It is a fun area to visit, with both lots of outdoor activities and a large city within easy driving distance.
