OP ... did you mean a towable or a motorhome?
We have a small Class C motorhome and Winnebago did just above everything right in it, EXCEPT:
1. The water pump is very difficult to get at. The water pump should be easily accessible.
2. The converter should have a been a 3-stage one for better battery charging.
3. The spare tire is mounted up in between the frame rails in the rear just like in a pickup truck ... but it doesn't have that nice pulley and cable system to lower it like some pickup trucks do.
4. The front passenger seat should have been on a swivel.
5. The toilet should have had it's own water shutoff valve.
6. The propane tank cabinet is plenty large, so it should have had a 23 gallon tank instead of only an 18 gallon propane tank.
7. The front roof powered vent should have been reversible instead of only a single direction (out) fan.
8. Both roof vents should have been covered with secondary vent covers so that the sun wouldn't eventually destroy the vents.
9. The main clothing closet should have had an interior light.
10. The black tank should have had a built-in flush instead of having to offload the grey tank contents into the black tank to flush the black tank.
11. The interior area where the water tank is is plenty large, so the water tank size could have been larger.
12. The hot water heater could have been electric and propane instead of just propane.
13. The automatic entrance step should have been mounted more robustly.
14. The oven should have a pizzo-electric starter.
Either one. Thanks for contributing.
Thats quite a list for something they did almost everything right on lol. Sadly a lot of the items you list are common across the RV industry among all brands.
14. Most RV ovens do not have an igniter. Seeing you can fit about 2 biscuits in there is that a big deal?
13. Thats Aimish Craftsmanship for ya.
12. Simply a cost cutting measure.
11. Probably related to staying within weight limitations of the chassis, or cost cutting, or both.
10. A gimmick which does not flush much, more of a tank filler if anything.
9. Stick an LED battery operated puck light in there.
8. Vent covers come standard on some brands. Standard in the sense of a "mandatory option" which you ultimately pay for.
7. Cost cutting.
6. Cost cutting.
5. I have never seen an RV with a shutoff valve on the line to the toilet, or any other fixture as far as that goes.
4. Cost cutting.
3. You should never need the spare due to the high quality tires installed OEM lol. Get a tarp and carry a creeper.
2. Can you say cheap WFCO junk? Sure.....I knew you could.
1. Show me one that is not crammed in the most inconvenient place, which is wide open on the line in the factory by the way, then they build everything else around it. I think its on purpose and the laugh while doing so.
