Sorry to jump in with limited and perhaps only related experience. I never rented our unit but did loan it to a couple who were going to a NASCAR event. I failed to ask the right questions and presumed that they would surely not mistreat the loaner. (never do that). They parked in a mud lot and got stuck. Unit was returned with exterior rinsed but under carriage caked with mud. Interior had mud tracked on the carpets. I cleaned it back to normal but a great deal of work. The borrowing couple seem much less friendly now than before the disappointed reaction I had when unit was returned.
I suggest a great deal of thought go into the rental agreement. A substantial deposit would be required. The return condition of the vehicle must be clearly agreed to before they drive off. If we're voting, I wouldn't do it.
