Happens all the time. "Oh no he won't bite." My dog won't bite but he feels, he is our defender and he just might take an ankle. Lat trip we had a nice couple next ti us. He won't bite. Might near took off my leg. didn't bite but tried.
I introduce the dog to anyone entering the home. He then will try to lick you to death.
They need to keep their babies, on a leash and know it. When they bite someone and Owners end up with legal and medical bills they will learn.
Some breeds ere originally bred for hunting and are aggresive, in amny situations, like Daschunds.
Cczrrying a stick might save you an ankle. :)
