Bird Freak - I DID read the OP's post. That is why I told him I was sorry for his dog. Not once did I EVER make mention that Lumpty (nor his dog) was at any fault in his situation.
The rest of my post was in response to the general concept that leash laws only pertain to other dogs that people have (including a different poster on this thread).
So, rather than jump on me for "not reading before I post an opinion", perhaps you should follow your own advice.
Oh, and, just so it's clear: Lumpty IS the OP. It was a response poster, Jake, whose dog was not on a leash.
