Oh boy..this is one of my pet peeves for sure! Some sites look like airport runways with lights lining both sides of the drive and surrounding the camping area. Then as mentioned, those huge bright lights that illuminate the entire CG.
AND.. THEY. ARE. ON. ALL. NIGHT.
I put rope lights under the canopy if we set it up and usually an 18' rope light on the ground next to the moho. The only ones that stay on the entire time we're out is the one next to the moho and it is unplugged when we go in for the night.
If one needs all those lights on all night to feel safe, then maybe camping anywhere but a well lit parking lot isn't the best choice.
