Keep in mind that there's a difference between being a "stargazer" and being a person who likes to sit outside on a clear night and enjoy the stars. Of course, someone who is serious about it will head for a mountaintop far from the city. However, a person in an RV might just like seeing how many satellites they can spot. It's not unreasonable to feel a bit frustrated with a person who thinks it's their mission in life to light up the whole campground.
Obviously, there's a place for reasonable tolerance on both sides.
