I have to agree with another, these posts are funny.
Some things we have come to realize:
- If you camp in a campground with fire pits, expect there to be campfires
- if you camp somewhere without hook ups and there are posted generator hours, expect generators running, during those hours.
- If you camp in dark places, expect people to light up their area (and maybe some of yours).
But with all that said, we do expect that quiet hours means quiet hours. Quiet doesn't just mean "shhhh", it's also being mindful of others trying to sleep around you. It's not all about you, it's not all about them...it's all about being respectful and minding the rules that were put in place for certain reasons. For most to be able to enjoy their experience. For those of us that want to camp beyond the rules and do it entirely our way, then we should seek to camp in places where we will be more happy and not expect others to have to conform to us. As we feel we may have to have to conform to them or the rules. It's much easier to change ourselves than it is to change others.
