Courtesy is key. I am one of those that have the 6 globe lights, they are on a dimmer and usually stay at 50% or below in a dark campground. The soft glow beats the harshness of LED rope lights or patio/scare lights on that clearly are bright in comparison to my prefered dimmer level.
About the only time you will find them at full power is when eating outside, its usually requested and does make it easier.
