Time to start boon docking. The most beautiful nights we spent were boon docking in the Great Basin (OR/NV). The night sky was so beautiful and clear that you could see the Milky Way and star clusters. Very humbling. We were the only ones camping for miles. A few of the places: Lunar Crater, Black Rock Desert playa, Hart Mountain area, etc. Try it.
