It's easy to say find your own happy place but it isn't always the easiest option for everyone.
Here we can hook up the trailer and in a hour, maybe two be in a boondocking site where I know my closest neighbor is at least a half mile away. the last trip up it was more like 2 to 3 miles. There are also numerous private, state and forest campgrounds to chose from offering near unlimited options.
I understand back east the boondocking opportunities are far more limited and the denser population makes the use of the options available all that heavier. So packing up and hitting a more favorable place may not be a option for many.
