I've got to call out popeye766,on that raised in NY comment! Just exactly how do New Yorkers act?
I take it you have spent many years living and working in NY so you have first hand knowledge!
How are the folks in Brownsville, dallas,houston?
Not a single one of them are disrespectful of their neighbors are they.
Now I am prejudiced against Texas. In 1931 my grandfather was beaten and robbed in Corpus Christi, and the jailed for vagrancy, because after he was robbed he had no ID or money. But mainly cause he was a New Yorker. My family had to gather funds to pay what amounted to a ransome. He died happily in NY as a fugitive from that good ole upright Texas justice.
My reasons for painting Texas with a broad brush seems to have the same validity of your NY prejudice.
