Some people need lights to sleep. Sounds strange, but I have friends who, at their sticks and bricks, have a street light that shines through the bedroom window. I guess they've gotten so used to it that they can't sleep without a light shining through the window - having no light is so strange that they can't sleep. Does that mean they shouldn't be allowed to camp?
There are curtains in RVs for a reason - to block things like prying eyes and light out. If light bothers you, use them.
