For some reason I think Jake is not as bad as he makes it out to be. Then again there has been a "Jake" in the last three campgrounds we have been in. One was nearly empty until Friday when it turned into party central. The next had a person that let his dog wander and was tearing up sage brush to burn. His kid decided to chop branches out of the live tree in their site the next morning. The last one had a Honda 3000 running 24/7 and if I thought my porch light was bright, His scare lights lit up the field beyond us.
We returned the dog after it nearly got clobbered when all Honey could see was a large black animal coming around the end of the TT. Spoke to the mother about the father and kid going after live vegetation. Never mentioned the 24/7 generator use but did show him the solar. When it came time to go to bed at party central, we shut the windows, closed the blinds, turned on some music and went to bed.
Sometimes getting upset over what others do just isn't worth it. It's easier to go boondocking and avoid it all.
