Jake can camp next to me anytime.
But, he will have to leave CA! Once my son moves, I will probably never go to CA again, Jake will have to come to Montana.
Oh, wait, our favorite winery won't ship to Montana! Oh, well, I guess I will have to make a speed run to Manteca once a year to get several bottles each of Sweet Marie and White Zin.
Delicato Vineyards.......if you are that close just run up Hwy 99 a ways and visit Jake.
Actually, if you look at a map, you will find I have to go through Sacramento to get to Manteca from here.
The key word there is THROUGH! I NEVER leave the freeway anywhere near Sacramento.
But, Jake can come here, get his 3 day fishing license, and we will go up the Boulder river for camping, fishing, and fun, and, with luck, fry up a batch of fresh Montana brook trout!
Just turn the cell phone off, it probably won't work back in there anyway!
Sorry, didn't pay any attention to where you are from. I lived in Stockton for 58 years so I kinda know where things are. You'll stop in Manteca but not Sac? Interesting. You are no safer in Manteca then you are in any of the other cities in that Sac to Bakersfield corridor. But, if you're a "Jake" type, you should be able to take whatever comes. After all, he owns the world. There should be a perk or two in that for you.
