I can't wait for school to start either. But not because of the kids. I went to Ocean City yesterday on a spur of the moment idea. Only a half mile backup at the Bay Bridge, but ran into traffic on the other side that so that it took 45 minutes to go 13 miles. Once at OC I had to sit in a six mile backup to get into town. Off season rooms that go for 100-150 a night, were going for $350+ a night. Didn't take the motorhome cuz the CGs require a three night stay during summer break. Rates at Frontier Town for WSE are 90 bucks a night until Sept 3 when the drop to 54 buck a night. Once I got to town, I had lost interest in the beach, so I had dinner and a couple of drinks, went to the casino and came home.
C'mon September. A trip to the beach is so much more harmonious after school starts.
