I've never run into the problem. I'm a single and childless RVer and I stay almost exclusively in KOAs. Never been in one yet that didn't have a pool and playground for the kids. Often a fenced dog area. And the owners are on site and police the CG. That's a BIG difference. I don't know if its intentional, but I'm usually assigned a site well away from the pool and playground without asking.
