This has been entertaining, to say the least :-)
"Wild kids"?? Send 'em to MY site. Seriously, I love to hear the shrieks/giggles of kids playing and having fun - fortunately, my dogs have been taught to not bark, although they might whine because they LOVE kids! I enjoy talking to them, getting their thoughts. They're way more interesting than some adults I know...
And if you have kids in your site and want them gone - try this:
Playing Hide and Seek: "She's behind the big tree in the middle!" "He's behind the red car"
Just hanging around your site: "Here, Sonny - since you like my site so much, how about raking it for me?" (have rake in hand)
Point to clover: "See? Leaves of Three - Let It Be. That's Poison Ivy, Son"
Got a dog? "Sure you can pet him - tell your Mom he's got Mange"
If you're going to be a Curmudgeon, you might as well do it well ;-)
