Salesmen, like in most lines of work are employed by companies that set policy. WhenI can walk into one company and get a price then go a few miles down the road & buy the exact same item several thousand dollars cheaper we have a problem. In most cases it is not the salesman that sets the price. So I realize it is the sales person that gets the bad rap. However I am also looking for the best bang for the buck. The sales person alsoo knows if I leave he probably won't see me again. They have to apply some pressure if they are on commission. I don't hold it against them. Like I have mentioned in previos posts. It is a business deal. I treat it that way.
