From many of the RV manufacturing videos on YouTube it shows that many of their workers are indeed Amish, problem is that they are working at breakneck speeds as they are paid by how many units they push out the door daily. With current demand as high as it's ever been, the giants of the industry (Jayco, Forest River, and Thor to mention a few) with all the brands under their respective umbrellas are mass producing units faster than ever.
It's the main reason that these units have more flaws than their smaller RV manufacturer counterparts, as we all know, the more time one takes to complete a project the better the outcome in most cases. I might be a bit more leary buying a recently built RV than in the past, that's why it is important to purchase from a dealer that is well respected for their service after the sale, no doubt their will be some warranty issues that need attending to with the ramped up production these factories are trying to sustain.
