Interesting idea. Foretravel spec'd their coach's so as long as you were under 10 % ofthe weight of the coach then no brake was needed. I pulled a wrangler without a brake 300,000 miles why use a brake if I could pick up the jeep and put it inside and still have a couple thousand pound left over. Well I switched to a Grand Cherokee Overland and I could feel it behind me a bit. I decided if I could feel it on start up I could feel it when I stopped so I put in an Airforce One. It works well but only on full brake application. I do not know if it makes a difference. One day I will test it in a parking lot but I feel that in a panic stop situation it will help. The weight us over the ten percent threshold of my coach loaded but well within my GVWR.
