Yep, there are some MAJOR changes in the industry. Rigs are stacked, jobs are scarce and the pay has been lowered by GGS. Also, many gates are now set up with guard shacks and you work a 12 hour shift, then go home to where ever you are living. Luckily, several companies still believe in their people and work to keep the good ones. Do not go back thinking you will get a gate in a couple weeks. Make darn sure you have something lined up, prior to heading to the patch.
